Project “Starke Bündnisse gegen sexualisierte Gewalt im Landkreis Sigmaringen”
Recent developments show an increase in sexual violence against children and adolescents, including cybergrooming. Effective support requires close cooperation among all involved professionals, as well as clear agreements and functional communication.
The project “Strong Alliances Against Sexual Violence” by LKSF Baden-Württemberg e. V. establishes a structure-building measure in the district. Adapted to local conditions and needs, interprofessional network structures are initiated under the responsibility of the district administration and LICHTBLICK, which address the complex topic of “protection against sexual violence” and can counter sexual violence.
The goal is to establish an alliance in the SIGMARINGEN DISTRICT to bring together existing services, actors, structures, and networks that exist and work in the field of “protection against sexual violence”.

Kick-off Event of the Lichtblick Counseling Center (Caritas) and the Sigmaringen District Office
The kick-off event for the project “Strong Alliances Against Sexual Violence Against Children and Adolescents” took place at Haus Bethlehem in Sigmaringen. The Lichtblick counseling center and the Sigmaringen District Office are one of four districts in Baden-Württemberg establishing close cooperation in this area. Over 60 representatives from police, justice, youth welfare, counseling centers, schools, and healthcare attended the event.
The project receives 9.8 million euros in funding from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration and is supported by the LKSF. The results of the event will form the basis for further work until October 2025 and are intended to be sustainably established in the district.
Combating sexual violence against children and adolescents is a societal task
The economic impacts of sexual abuse are significant: The
healthcare system is
burdened by medical care, rehabilitation, and work incapacity. To address these challenges, it is crucial to
implement preventive measures.
