Are you expecting a baby and many things are new to you? Do you want to have a child? Do you have lots of questions and are you looking for information, dlscussions and expert advice? We can advise and support you on all topics relating to pregnancy and after the birth in the first years of life.

We offer advice and assistance with:

  • Parental allowance, child benefit and parental leave
  • Maternity protection and employment ban, as well as benefits during this period
  • Questions about childcare, compatibi1tty of child and career
  • Initial equipment for mother and child
  • lf you are or will be a single parent
  • Financial questions, worries and hardships
  • personal concerns or if it is about your family or partnership
  • Pregnancy conflici counseling (without counseling certificate)

How does pregnancy counseling work?

The Catholic pregnancy counseling service of Caritas and the Social Service of Catho1ic Warnen {SkF} is
there for you. We work together with midwives and clinics in the district of Sigmaringen. We also support the
job center, the district office, foundations and other specialist services, as weil as churches and local
authorities.

In pregnancy counseling, we provide:

  • state, church and other financial aid, e.g. the Federal Foundation "Mother and Child"
  • of used baby and children's clothing
  • of early help

Who can contact
pregnancy counseling?

  • All women, men and young people who have questions about pregnancy and birth
  • Pregnant women and their relatives
  • Mothers and fathers whose children are still small

Good to know:

Pregnancy counseling does not end with the birth. You are also welcome to contact us once your child has been born. Four times a year, we offer a lecture at Sigmaringen Hospital on important topics such as parental allowance/parental leave/child benefit, etc.
  • You can arrange a consultation by telephone or e-mail.
  • Horne visits are possible in individual cases.
