Internal Services at Caritas Association Sigmaringen
Administration
The Caritas Association Sigmaringen, with its various departments and social services, operates according to the principles of economic efficiency and frugality, requiring a comprehensive infrastructure. A differentiated administration contributes to this.
While administrative staff in the residential care homes and the St. Francis Workshop are responsible for administrative tasks, particularly for invoicing and service billing, a central administration for all facilities and services is located in the association’s headquarters at Fidelishaus in Sigmaringen.
What are the tasks of the central administration?
- Complete bookkeeping for 25 facilities and services, including central payment transactions
- Issuance of donation receipts
- Human resources management for over 300 employees (new hires, employment contracts according to AVR, personnel changes, maintaining personnel files, salary reports to ZGast, authorities and institutions, reports and evaluations, and much more)
- Central management of contractual and legal matters
- Financial planning and controlling
- Foundations and preparations for fee and compensation agreements with cost bearers (e.g., nursing care funds, county)
- Annual financial statements of the association
As a registered association, Caritas Association Sigmaringen has been subjecting itself to the audit requirements of §§ 316 ff. HGB for many years
. A renowned financial company audits both the annual financial statements and the regularity of business management
