What Does the Ombudsperson Do?

You can confidentially and, if desired, anonymously report potential violations to
the ombudsperson. Your identity may only be disclosed with your consent or by
binding order of state authorities.

Formal Digital Report Submission

The submission of reports is not bound to specific forms. In particular,
you can communicate your reports in person, in writing, by phone, or by email.
Anonymity guaranteed

Of course, you can also submit your reports via the digital whistleblowing system with an anonymous
dialogue function. If possible, you can hand over documents supporting your suspicion
to the ombudsperson or upload them via the whistleblowing system.

In addition to our whistleblowing system channels, the Federal Government has also established an authority for external reporting of misconduct. You can find the corresponding reporting channel here.
