The "Caritasverband Sigmaringen" is expanding its range of counseling services
Debt counseling
Since January 1, 2026, the “Caritasverband Sigmaringen” has taken over debt counseling for the district. This office is currently being set up.
Even though we are not yet a recognized debt counseling service, we would like to support people with financial difficulties right away.
In particular, recipients of benefits under SGB II (citizen’s income) and SGB XII (basic security benefits) can contact us.
What do we offer?
Advice, support and information
- Initial guidance in stressful financial situations
- Clarifying discussions about your personal and financial situation
- Support in reviewing and structuring your financial situation
- Help in finding suitable solutions
- Referrals to further assistance and counseling services
- Early support with the aim of opening up new perspectives

Important info if you’re not getting citizen’s income, meaning you’re not getting SGB II benefits or basic income support, which is SGB XII benefits:
Our advice center cannot advise you if you are employed or self-employed. In these cases, we recommend that you contact an experienced lawyer or tax advisor.
